Bahamut
For
four years now, solo artist
Bahamut from Holland has been exploring a broad range of styles in the
field of atmospheric electronica and ambient. He tries something new
everytime. Dark or light, melodic, rhythmic or non-rhytmic ambient;
Bahamut doesn't stick to a particular style.
Until now, he has used a Roland synthesizer as single soundsource for
most of his music. Bahamut: "I've also used software synths/samplers in
my more recent music, but the basis for my tracks is still done on the
Roland synth. This might seem fairly limited, but for me it is a source
of creativity and inspiration."
Musical influences are mostly well known artists like Brian Eno, Klaus
Schulze, Steve Roach, Pete Namlook.
